Testimonial

Designing a STEM programme for Powerfields Group of Schools and working on a core power project (Exploring Big Data Analytics in the Power Sector) were two of my favorite special projects. Being active in something other than turbine blades, control valves, and demineralized water makes Egbin an interesting place to work.

Mary OlayiwolaAssociate Instrumentation and Control Engineer

The Graduate Engineering Program gave me a holistic view of the power value chain, problems confronting it, probable solutions, and the future of the industry. With a blended approach of classroom and OJT in 5 different power plants exposing me to technical and non-technical core business functions. The training built my capacity to contribute my quota to the needed change in the energy industry which I am passionately doing now

Damilare OlayiwolaAssociate Instrumentation & Control Engineer

My journey started as a Graduate Trainee Engineer in 2018, one of the key highlights of my experience was the training programme that gave a bird's eye view of the entire power sector before it zeroed in on power generation. It was also coupled with field experience at various power generation plants.
This was followed by a rotation across various departments. This rotation gave me a platform to be involved in several projects in different units.
In all, I picked up a range of soft, commercial, and technical skills to nurture the Engineer in me.
